Hello!
I’m Janelle and I started Chroma Architecture + Design in 2021 in order to refocus my priorities as an architect, concentrating on delivering thoughtful design solutions in a deliberate and attentive manner.
What does that mean exactly? We take on projects in a scheduled method so that no matter the size, your project will get our undivided attention.
Architects are problem solvers at heart and we believe good design should be human centered and accessible to everyone. It should respect the environment, whether through repurposing an old building or working with sustainable practices to build new. Most importantly it should be fun!
With over 15 years experience, I am a registered architect in the state of Ohio, as well as a LEED Accredited Professional. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, I worked in Boston and New York City before to returning to my hometown in 2013.
I have extensive experience in both new construction and renovation work, including historic tax credit projects. My work has encompassed a variety of building types over the years and I specialize in single and multi-family residential, mixed-use development, offices and commercial tenant fit out.
